Our Purpose

Together, we champion shared learning across the clinical and executive leaders of Minnesota’s assisted living and skilled care settings.

Through supportive dialogue that is grounded in the ECHO principle of “all teach, all learn,” our virtual community of interdisciplinary leaders shares promising clinical practices to improve quality of life and operational outcomes for Minnesota’s older adults.

Our Network

In each one-hour session, you'll meet a diverse mix of leaders from across Minnesota's aging services field, with a focus on executive operations and clinical leadership, including:

  • Medical Directors
  • Nurse Leaders
  • Assisted Living Directors
  • Nursing Home Administrators

We also welcome other geriatrics clinicians, administration students, academic faculty, social workers, recreation therapists, corporate leadership, and direct caregivers based on session topics.

We do ask that all attendees be employed by an aging services organization.

Our Discussions

Since 2020, our 1-hour sessions ranged from quality and infection prevention fundamentals to emerging policies and practices on CBD/THC. Whether exploring new mental health resources for staff or palliative care supports, we focus on the sticky conversations where different perspectives can improve our shared understanding.

In 2023, we hope you'll join us as we explore several topics, including survey trends, guardianships, conservatorships, supported decision-making, mental health screening and assessments, trauma-informed care, swallowing disorders and nutrition, workforce development strategies, mental health screening and assessments, report cards and more!

We also welcome your ideas, so send us the challenging scenarios your leadership team is working through for us to pose as an anonymous case scenario and put the power of our statewide collaborative to work for you.
