Teresa McCarthy
MD, MS
Terri serves as our project lead from the University of Minnesota, where she serves as faculty at the Minnesota Area Geriatric Educational Center. She has served as the physician team lead for an interprofessional geriatric education program in a Transitional Care Unit and brings experience spanning geriatrics, including COVID-19, falls, urinary incontinence, osteoporosis, care transitions, and effective interprofessional teams.
Rajean Moone
PhD, MS
Rajean also provides leadership to our team from the University of Minnesota, where he serves as Faculty Director for the Long-Term Care Administration program, and Associate Director of Policy at the Center for Healthy Aging and Innovation. He is a member of the Interprofessional Geriatrics Coordinating Council for the Minnesota Northstar Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Project.
Kari Everson
DNP, MSN, MHA, RN, PHN, LNHA, LALD, DNS-CT, QCP
Kari serves as our clinical subject matter expert. She serves as President of EverCare Aging Services Consulting. She is also the Vice President of Clinical Services and Nurse Consultant at LeadingAge Minnesota and an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Minnesota. She brings experience working in clinical and executive leadership roles across the aging services sector.
Christina Cauble
MBA, LNHA, HSE
Christina provides program support to our team from the University of Minnesota, where she serves as a Geriatrics Specialist and faculty member. Previously serving in executive leadership roles in aging services, she brings personal understanding and experience about the many hats leaders need to wear and compliance with the detailed state and federal regulatory requirements.
Adam Suomala
MPA
Adam serves as our facilitator. He started in the aging sector in 2000 and currently serves as Executive Director of the MN Leadership Council on Aging as well as Chief Optimist at Adam Suomala Consulting. He brings a depth of experience in areas of policy, leadership, workforce and the development of programs and cross-sector efforts in the field of aging.
Siobhan McMahon
PhD, MSN, MPH, GNP-BC
Siobhan provides support from the University of Minnesota, where she serves as an Associate Professor, Director of the Center on Aging Science and Care, and Associate Director of Clinical Science and Practice at the Center for Healthy Aging and Innovation. She has a Research Professorship with the School of Nursing Foundation and experience in fall prevention, physical activity, health behavior change, as well as developing and testing technology to augment interventions.
