Teresa McCarthy

MD, MS


Terri serves as our project leader from the University of Minnesota, where she serves as faculty for the Minnesota Area Geriatric Educational Center. She also serves as the physician team lead for the interprofessional geriatric education program at the Walker Methodist Health Center's Transitional Care Unit and brings experience in the areas of COVID-19, falls, urinary incontinence, osteoporosis, care transitions, and effective interprofessional teams.

Emily Escue

MD


Emily serves as our project leader from Hennepin Healthcare, where she is board-certified in internal medicine, geriatrics, and palliative care. She cares for older people in the clinic as well as in skilled care centers and their homes. She has a special interest in complex chronic illness management, dementia, and advanced care planning.

Kari Everson

DNP, MSN, MHA, RN, PHN, LNHA, LALD


Kari serves as our clinical subject matter expert. She also serves as President for Euvoia Senior Care Consulting, the Vice President of Clinical  Services and Nurse Consultant for LeadingAge Minnesota, and as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Minnesota. She brings experience working across key clinical and executive leadership roles in the aging services sector.

Rajean Moone

PhD, MS


Rajean provides program support to our team from the University of Minnesota, where he also serves as Faculty Director for the Long-Term Care Administration program, and is Associate Director of Education for the Center for Healthy Aging and Innovation and a member of the Interprofessional Geriatrics Coordinating Council for the Minnesota Northstar Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Project.

Chris provides program support to our team from the University of Minnesota, where she serves as a Professor, Senior Executive Associate Dean for Academic Programs, and the Katherine R. & C. Walton Lillehei Chair in Nursing Leadership. She brings experience in the areas of quality of care and life for older adults, staffing, leadership, case models, delegation, and the professional practice environment.

Deanna provides iECHO program support from Hennepin Healthcare, where she serves as Project Coordinator. She is an enthusiastic translator, fostering positive understanding between stakeholders on project initiatives, coordinating and implementing tasks, and ensuring timely completion and compliance with our data and systems.

Siobhan McMahon

PhD, MSN, MPH


Siobhan provides program support to our team from the University of Minnesota, where she serves as an Associate Professor and Co-Director for the Center on Aging Science and Care. She has a Research Professorship with the School of Nursing Foundation and experience in fall prevention, physical activity, health behavior change and motivation, as well as developing and testing technology to augment interventions.

Adam Suomala

Adam serves as our team's session facilitator. He also serves as Executive Director for the MN Leadership Council on Aging, Chief Optimist for Adam Suomala Consulting, and as a Strategy Consultant at the Collective Action Lab. He brings experience in areas of policy and workforce as well as developing programs and cross-sector convenings in the field of aging.
