Continuing Education
Meeting your licensure requirements
Licensure
Minnesota Geriatrics ECHO hosts virtual sessions twice each month that provide information and technical assistance on topics across the aging services field that may help meet your continuing education needs. Each session offers one (1) continuing education hour that you are required to keep records of and submit to your licensing board:
Licensed Assisted Living Directors
Licensed Nursing Home Administrators
Health Service Executive
Each year, the Minnesota Board of Executives for Long Term Services and Supports requires you to report your annual Continuing Education by attesting that you completed the total number of hours.
Nurses
Each session is designed to meet the CEU approval criteria for the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
Social Workers
The University of Minnesota is also an approved provider of continuing education (CEP #2235) by the Minnesota Board of Social Work.
